Neuroscientist Wins Horwitz Prize

Columbia will award the prize to S. Lawrence Zipursky for discovering a system that helps neurons wire the brain. He will deliver two lectures on Nov. 12.

How Does Childhood Stress Impact Health?
A Mailman School study will investigate how early life stressors affect heart health, especially in a minority population.

CDM Recognized for Diversity Efforts
For the second year in a row, the dental school won a Higher Education Excellence in Diversity Award. The larger university also was honored.
