Mythological Friends & Foes,

I hate that you have a history.

No, that's not true.

I hate that you have a history when your history looks like the cast of 300.

A number of years ago, I decided to hang up an old pair of jealousy spurs but it was a long rodeo to get there. On this week's episode of Other Men Need Help, we share a personal story of two imagined rivalries - one that's complete and one that might be reaching it's completion in the next few weeks.

Take a listen and let us know how you've dealt with your own Pablo or Dylan.

See you in two weeks, my allies.

Sorry So Sloppy,

Que bonita es mi tierra.
Lorena Russi is just your run of the mill Latina that gets confused for a white man on the regular. Aside from white male privilege, Lorena enjoys looking at her hair in the mirror, willing it to grow longer. Has she mentioned she gets confused for a white man?

Lorena is a full time Comedian/ Videographer/ Mop Accessory. She's hosted Chipotle’s Snapchat Channel and has created content with BuzzFeed, “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” and Mitu. You can find her in real time filming, writing, and performing on her comedy channel @Quesodigital as well as performing Monday Nights at the Magnet Theater.

Early Crush: Currently crushing hardddd on Shania Twain. Aside from the fact that "Man I Feel Like A Woman" describes my entire journey through puberty, I brought her up recording a podcast (MARK YOU KNOW THE ONE ;) ) and started looking into her life again. What a babe. Some key points. One, her birth name is Eilleen Regina Edwards, which I dont know why it tickles me, maybe because she sounds like she'd be kidnapped and placed on a Pirate Ship, but she CHANGED it to Shania because in Ojibway that means "I'm on my way." *Dramatic sigh* I mean, what a gem. Two, she's Canadian which is important in case our future children ever needed to leave America. For no reason at all, but you know, just in case. It's currently 2015 and Obama's President, right? And then lastly she is 52 and STILL LOOKING FOINE. Fooo000oooooiinnnneeee. Mainly, Shania had the classic artist struggle, looking to find her voice and herself in her artistry which really speaks to me now. Also she's still working, with a new song coming out and a cameo in the latest "Broad City" season. Like, whaaaa? Also, I just think it's a hysterical bonus that she was my first female crush at 8 and then I didn't come out for 11 more years.
