2022 Festival Programming

Bulletin #9
You are receiving this bulletin because you have been a recent presenter at WWC. Thank you for your support. When Words Collide is a unique type of festival where everyone–organizers and presenters–volunteer their time and talents to bring readers and writers together in a celebratory weekend. Without you, there would be no festival.

3 Weeks to Go!

Thank you to everyone who provided program updates and for volunteering to present. Several of the tracks are close to being finalized. We are expecting a few additional changes. There are still a number of discussion panels that could use additional presenters (marked as ? in the presenter list of applicable sessions). If you see a ? in a panel's presenter list and are knowledgeable and willing to join the panel, please email and I will forward your email to the appropriate affiliate. Time is running out.

Our sign-up window for
Blue Pencil Café opened on July 1st and we have been receiving sign-ups. Next week we will forward requests to requested editors. If you would like to participate as an editor and are not listed in the program, please contact us ASAP so we can include you in an update.

Are You Registered?

Access to attend any part of the online festival requires Eventbrite registration, even if you are presenting. While you will receive via email a ZOOM invite to sessions where you are presenting, you will need a free Eventbrite festival pass to attend any other sessions. Please register.

Presenter Bios and Headshots

We have begun posting bios and headshots we have received on our program page. If you have not sent one in, please do so at your earliest convenience.

Zoom Links for presenting on sessions

Track managers are creating the Zoom sessions and forwarding the links for the "live program book" which will be accessible during the festival via attendees' Eventbrite tickets. Presenters will receive invites prior to the festival via ZOOM to join the sessions you are presenting on. To attend other sessions, you will need to find the links in the live program book.
