2022 Festival Programming

Bulletin #6
You are receiving this bulletin because you have been a recent presenter at WWC. Thank you for your support. When Words Collide is a unique type of festival where everyone–organizers and presenters–volunteer their time and talents to bring readers and writers together in a celebratory weekend. Without you, there would be no festival.

Festival Registration Goes Live

The 2022 festival and master class events have been created in Eventbrite and will be announced this Saturday (April 16). This means we are currently updating the WWC web site with our program in development and master class info. A big thank you to our affiliates who have sent in their work-in-progress so we could make our first draft or our program documents, which will be updated as programming progresses. Links to these documents are below.

Our SIC-CW/CWC affiliates put out a call in the last bulletin (#5) looking for topic suggestions and interested presenters. If you are active in Crime/Mystery-related genres you may wish to review bulletin # 5. I believe IFWA will also be putting out a call for presenters for their speculative fiction track. Just a reminder: if you are an affiliate creating a track and need presenters, we can put a call out for them here.

We are also looking for additional editors and agents to participate in our Blue Pencil Café and Pitch Sessions. If you are willing to offer these services, please let us know so we can add you to our documentation. Note: we will collect contact information for those looking to receive these services and forward them to you for scheduling, preferably in the days immediately prior to or following the festival weekend.
