Message From the Grand Guardian

Hello Wisconsin Job’s Daughters Community!

I hope this communication finds you well.  We may have not been able to meet in person since the middle of March, we have had many activities and fun challenges to keep our community engaged.

SHOUT OUT to the Daughters who participated in some of the events and activities of the Virtual Supreme Session - if you would like to go back and relive the moments on the Job’s Daughters International page on YouTube.

Our members participated in the Virtual Ritual Competition on July 24th. It was awesome to hang out in the waiting room with members from the Philippines and Australia! Daughters from Brazil were waiting in a different waiting room, due to the language barrier.  This year, Daughters from all 5 of our Job’s Daughters countries were able to participate in Ritual Competition!

We were able to celebrate our Wisconsin Jobies throughout the events of the Virtual Supreme. We saw them in the parade of Honored Queens and recognized for their participation in a variety of individual and bethel spirit awards.  The Virtual Supreme Session ended with the Installation of the new Supreme Guardian Council. Mom Valorie Koogle from VA and Dad Mark Allen from OR were installed as the Supreme Guardian and the Associate Supreme Guardian.  We were most excited to see our very own, Mom Maureen Wise installed as Supreme Guide.  She continues to make her way up the Supreme line proving to everyone that WISCONSIN will be the place to be in 2023!

Our Grand Bethel held an exemplification celebrating DeMolay July 17th. It was wonderful to see the time set aside to help bring some more awareness and celebrate the other Masonic Youth group in Wisconsin. I’m looking forward to seeing many participate in the next Grand Bethel Exemplification on Saturday August 8th at 12:30. We will celebrate remarkable women in history. Grand Bethel girls - make sure you contact Ashton for the zoom link!

Mark you calendars: SEPTEMBER 26th-27th, the Jamboree Board will be hosting Jamboree. The committee would like to get a headcount of participants by August 10th. Specific housing and meal decisions will be made after when the committee is able to get a rough estimate of people. We will be working to make sure that health guidelines are followed to maintain safety for participants.

The Supreme Guardian Council is working on the next phase of reopening our Job’s Daughters world to begin meeting in person again.  I believe we will hear the guidelines and next steps in a few short weeks.  We look forward to your flexibility and kindness as we begin to widen our circles to include our Jobie family.

Jobie Love and kindness,

Mom Val Riewe, Grand Guardian

Dad Bryan Collier, Associate Grand Guardian
