Annual Blue Mass of Thanksgiving

Roman Catholic High School will hold its annual Blue Mass of Thanksgiving on Wednesday, November 27 at 10:00 AM in the school gym/auditorium located on the third floor. Roman's Police, Fire, EMT, and first responding alumni are invited to attend. With a tradition that began in the Fall of 2007, after many Philadelphia Police Officers made the ultimate sacrifice, the Roman Catholic High School community dedicates the Mass before Thanksgiving break, as a Blue Mass of Thanksgiving, to honor and express appreciation to the Police Officers, Fire Fighters, EMT’s, and first responders of the City of Philadelphia. A small reception for our guests will take place following the Mass in Roman’s Information Center. Please contact Ms. Brown- mbrown@romancatholichs.com with any questions.

A special remembrance in honor of the 75th anniversary of D-Day was also conducted to honor our alumni who stormed the beaches at Normandy, especially three of our alumni who are buried there: Charles "Dunnie" Keenan '43, Paul Logan '39, and Peter Bonner '21.
