Welcome to the 12th Edition of our Mekong Tourism e-Newsletter

... and to our second weekly update!

While representing MTCO at tourism events in Seoul last week, I offered audiences and individuals a sneak peak at the development of #MekongMoments, a collaborative consumer marketing program. #MekongMoments leverages the phenomenon of social media sharing and offers a turn-key social media marketing solution to travel & tourism stakeholders of ALL budgets and sizes.

The response I received was overwhelmingly positive. Soon #MekongMoments will be ready to roll out campaigns in conjunction with sponsors. I expect there will be very high demand. By reply to this email, please register your interest in setting up a meeting and presentation to be among the first to participate in what will be a very exciting initiative.

Tourism Sector Strategy
This week the MTCO and ADB will hold consultative meetings with government stakeholders and development organisations on the development of the next GMS Tourism Sector Strategy. I hope to bring you some news of what happened in next week's newsletter.

As always, I look forward to your feedback and collaborating with you in the achievement of our collective goals!
Jens Thraenhart
Executive Director, MTCO
