This Carers Week put your questions to Scotland's political parties, and help keep carers' rights on the agenda. Age Scotland's About Dementia project, Age Scotland's Dementia Training team, and dementia carers charity TIDE are hosting an online event via Zoom on Friday 11 June 2021 at 10:30am.

The event will give you the chance to put your questions to representatives from Scotland's five main political parties and to hear from them about what they plan to do for carers over the coming parliamentary term.

During the event, you will be able to submit questions to be answered by the panel of politicians, or you can use the sign-up form on Eventbrite to submit questions in advance. To book a place to attend please click here.

We are hosting a range of virtual activities for carers to take part in during Carers Week 2021. It is vital at this time that you continue to take care of yourself and stay connected with others. BAME Carers Rights Presentation

A Bilingual information session about the Carers (Scotland) Act 2016 and your rights as a carer, with information about the support that Lanarkshire Carers provides.

This bilingual sessions aims to support carers from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities to understand their rights and access relevant support when they require it.

Session 1 (Urdu) 10am - 11am

Session 2 (Arabic) 12pm - 1pm

Session 3 (Polish) 1:30pm - 2:30pm
