Share the big and small ways your adopted pet brightens your life each and every day to help make Holiday Wishes come true for Pet Peace of Mind. Winning adopters will receive a Petco shopping spree, and Pet Peace of Mind will receive a grant award.
Last year our adoption story from Emily and Woofy from Portland, OR won an honorable mention award. We're hoping another one of you is a winner this year!

When patients’ pets need a new forever home, Pet Peace of Mind partners offer adoption services. At times they partner with external animal welfare groups to work together to find the best home for the pet. Mercy Health Services in St. Louis, MO recently partnered with The Wet Nose Project to rehome a dog named Max after his pet parent passed away. Tracy, founder of The Wet Nose Project, met with the patient’s daughter, had Max groomed and brought him to his new home. Tracy received a call from Max’s new owner a couple days later that the placement was not working out so Tracy picked him up and brought him to her house. Max fell in love with Tracy’s boys and they fell in love with him, so she decided Max should become part of their family. The patient’s daughter was so relieved that Max found his new forever home where he will be loved beyond measure.
