News from the San Diego-Baja California region

The past 18 months have been a bumpy, wild ride, with some unexpected turns. Many people were unhappy with the results. Now, with the elections past us, we are looking ahead to the positive impact that the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce can continue to make for our 2,500 member businesses and regional business community.

We are committed as always to our role as a convener and hub for business and community organizations, and a facilitator of productive dialogue for the business community when it comes to job creation and the economy - and helping our region reach its fullest potential.

As cross-border business advocates, our mission has never been more important than it is today. Home to the busiest land port of entry, our Cali-Baja region has a thriving economy thanks to NAFTA, a talented workforce and strong binational cooperation. This collaboration and communication with our neighbors in Baja California and throughout Mexico will grow stronger as we recommit to these efforts.

We are committed to working with the administration of President-elect Trump, as well as our elected representatives at the federal, state, and local levels as we continue our work to make San Diego the best place in California to do business.
