Call for Pilots – Develop Multidisciplinary Diagnostic Centre based pathways in England
The ACE Programme is currently inviting applications from CCGs and Providers to pilot new pathways for diagnosing patients with ‘non-specific but concerning symptoms’ – a pathway which incorporates Multidisciplinary Diagnostic Centres (MDCs).
You will have the opportunity to shape new, innovative care models in England. By piloting an MDC pathway, you will potentially drive improvements to cancer outcomes and significantly change patients’  pathway experiences for the better.

Pilots will form ‘Wave 2’ of the programme, which aims to test how feasible this referral route will be for the NHS in England -  a recommendation outlined in The Independent Cancer Taskforce’s strategy (July 2015).
Deadline for applications is 11 September 2015.
