Valentine's Day on the way

Valentine's Day is approaching and there's an increase in demand for personalised gifting and photo products! Promotional packs were posted out to all stores over a week ago, so you are hopefully already running the 'Win a Cinema Night' promotion in your store. If you're not... make sure you start running the promotion as soon as possible and benefit from the busy trading period leading up to Valentine's Day.

The promotion will result in 5 winners receiving a 'Cinema Night' prize. These prizes will be in the form of a £40 Gift Card for the cinema of the winners' choice!

All they have to do to enter is make a purchase in your store and complete a prize draw entry form. Full details of where you send your customer entries are explained on the briefing sheet in your pack
The packs include A3 posters, prize draw entry forms, entries return sheet and envelope and the prize draw terms and conditions sheet.

In addition to this you can also access Valentine's Day marketing assets in the online Kodak Express Toolbox that you can check out here:

This is a great opportunity for you to encourage customers to buy a photo gift for Valentine’s Day in your store so don't forget to start advertising the promotion as soon as possible!

This can be via social media posts, displaying your posters or simply by mentioning it browsers when they come into your store.

Open Day Success

A big thank you to all the Kodak Express network members who joined us in Leicester as Tetenal hosted the launch of the new Epson Large Format printers and made the day a great success.

Those who came along a couple of weeks ago were able to see the brand new Epson 7500 Printer for the first time and put it through some rigorous testing. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive and that this machine is a real gamechanger.

There was also the opportunity to discuss colour profiling and get advice from Tetenal's colour management expert David Norris, as well as seeing samples of new retail gifting products and getting advice on store merchandising.

Visitors also enjoyed grabbing a drink and a bite to eat whilst looking around the recently revamped showrooms and networking with other store owners and members of the wider photo printing business community.

New stores continuing to open

Following the recent launch of Imagex in Bicester, we have two further new stores opening in February.

Cable Express will be a brand new photo shop in Blackpool, Lancashire. The second store joining the Kodak Express network in February will be Andrew's of Oxford, a dry cleaning store that are introducing photo printing services.

We look forward to sharing more details with you about these new members very soon.

Opportunity to increase your profit margins on large format printing

More and more Kodak Express stores are choosing Spectrajet media for their Canvas Prints, Photo Enlargements and other large format printing services. If you haven't already done so, how about taking a look at something different for your portfolio of inkjet papers this year? The Spectrajet Inkjet Paper range is going from strength to strength with new media and sizes being added.
There are papers in the Spectrajet portfolio which offer a real alternative to some of the leading names in the market in terms of quality as well as often offering a considerable price saving - giving you the opportunity to increase your profit margins on the items you produce.
