For Your Consideration: "Go, Space Racer!"

My Playboy Magazine story from last year is now FREE to read over at Curious Fictions. Follow me over there for more stories and commentary every month!

In related news, it's award nominations season for speculative fiction published in 2018. If you're an Active or Associate Member of SFWA, Nebula Award nominations are due by THIS FRIDAY (2/15); if you're attending or supporting this year's Worldcon in Dublin, Hugo Award nominations are due by March 15th.

Not sure what to nominate, or can't remember what you read last year? Check out the Locus Recommended Reading List or Cat Rambo's Round-up.

It's 2033. Do you know where your children are?

My next Serial Box episode drops tomorrow, so you still have time to catch up on parts 1-5 of Ninth Step Station, the near-future police procedural created by Malka Older and co-written with Fran Wilde, J Koyanagi, and myself!

Episode 6 features a returning character from the Chinese sector of occupied Tokyo, and introduces some new antagonists for Emma and Miyako. I had a lot of fun sneaking extra snarky dialogue into this show, but hopefully the more dramatic bits also land. You tell me? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
