**PLEASE ENROLL YOUR STUDENT IN POOL TESTING**
Only 1/3 of CCHS students are participating in Covid pool testing - 443 out of 1,300. Successful return to full-time in-person learning later this month will be smoother if we reach our goal of 80% participation as other local districts have. This will help decrease the number of kids having to quarantine at any given time. With MA Covid cases on the rise, this is extremely important to our success. Please contact Lisa Koski with questions.

GRANTS
If you haven't checked it out yet, we invite you to visit the Grants page on our website. Learn about the CCHSPA grants program and see highlights from the past four years of PA-funded grants.

The Grants Committee recently approved a grant for the Concord-Carlisle Community Connections (CCCC) program. Now in its 8th year, CCCC is a career mentoring program that pairs CCHS students with local community professionals over the course of the second semester of the school year. To learn more about this program for your student or to become a mentor, check out their website or contact Program Coordinator Steve Wells.
CCHS ACADEMIC SUPPORT
Would your student benefit from extra academic support? If so, check out this list of resources and contact your student's School Counselor for more information.
We're starting to build a roster for nominations for the Executive Board and Committees to be voted on in our May meeting. Open positions include President, VP, Secretary, and positions on all Committees. Detailed job descriptions can be found in this folder. We invite everyone to share their talent, expertise, and time (it doesn't take much) to benefit our students and the CCHS community. Reach out to president@cchspa.org for more information or to throw your name into the hat!
JOIN THE PA *NOW*!
The PA is actively seeking a creative self-starter to join our COMMUNICATIONS TEAM. You would create our bi-monthly newsletter, create and send email blasts, and raise awareness on social media. A digital marketing background or some experience with Wix, MailChimp, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram would be helpful. The estimated time commitment is ~4-6 hours per month.

JOIN US FOR THE NEXT PA MEETING
Our next regularly scheduled PA Meeting is Monday, May 3, 8:30 am during which we will vote for open positions on the Executive Board. As always, Zoom link provided 5 days prior to the meeting date. All are welcome!

What We're Reading

Fantasy fans will love the Grisha Trilogy by Leigh Bardugo. The books are Shadow and Bone, Siege and Storm, and Ruin and Rising. Recommended by the CCHS & Concord libraries for you or your teen, Shadow and Bone is coming to Netflix on April 23 as a fantasy series!
❤️  To YOU! Our wonderfully generous parent community came through once again to support the Student Government's annual St. Patrick's Day Luncheon for Senior Citizens. The drive-thru event was a terrific success!  ❤️
In addition to volunteering, there are many ways to support PA events, activities, and educational programs. The most impactful way is to donate directly to our Annual Appeal, either through PayPal (PayPal account NOT necessary) or by sending a check to school (made out to the CCHS Parents Association, address in footer). You can also shop or donate to benefit the PA.
