Work at Baptist Mid-Missions got off to a quick start. I (Travis) have been working in the office since mid-January. It is going very well, and I remain excited about the prospects of encouraging people toward missions and representing our Lord among churches and institutions here in the States. February is a busy month for recruitment, so we were able to minister in schools in Virginia, Iowa, and South Carolina. What a joy to spend time with people who desire to globally advance the Good News! Pray with us that God will move some of these to missionary service.

Meet the Fairchild family, on their way to re-open the field of Indonesia for BMM. We had the joy of meeting with them recently to encourage them in their support-raising process. Sam and Kara enjoyed taking turns helping their oldest two kiddos in the play area while we adults shared the joys and struggles of deputation. Pray for co-workers for them as they seek to minister in a dark place.

Opportunities for prayer
- Travis met with a couple concerning theological education in Europe. Please pray for God's leading in their lives.
- Our mission family lost a dear and faithful missionary on Sunday, Bob Bixby. He died of a massive heart attack after preaching in the church plant in Bordeaux, France. Please pray that God would use this death to bring many to Christ.
- Travis will begin preparing for Candidate Seminar soon. It will take place in July. All of the newest missionary appointees will meet for training during that week. Travis is in charge of the whole thing (his first time). Please pray for wisdom for him.
- A co-worker of ours, Doug Reiner, is fighting cancer and has recently been struggling with an infection and fatigue. Pray for healing and perseverance.
- We hope to make a decision soon on schooling for our kids for the fall. Please pray for wisdom.
- We've met a few of our neighbors and want to get to know them better in order to share Christ with them. Please pray that God will open doors for conversations about Him and that we would witness with boldness.
- Please pray for the Lord's direction for Becky's ministry/job decisions for the fall as well. She is considering teaching and/or volunteer work in an inner-city mission in Cleveland.
You are loved and appreciated!
Travis, Becky, Samuel, and Kara Gravley
