Canvas Faculty Toolbox 


The Faculty Toolbox is now available on Canvas. In the toolbox you will find a link to 'Growing with Canvas', a self-paced tutorial, faculty resources, a link and embed code for the Canvas Student Orientation, and much more!

According to the APM 206 Policies and Procedures on Technology Mediated Courses and Programs, faculty teaching online beyond 20% of the entire course must successfully complete training and go through the appropriate approval process

Making Inclusive Materials a Click Away


Ally is active in both Blackboard and Canvas, constantly scanning content files for accessibility. The instructor feedback will now show in-browser previews for PDFS, Word documents and PowerPoint documents. These previews are then used to identify where in the document specific accessibility issues can be found.

Robert M. Harper, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs is pleased to announce the Provost's Awards Lecture Series, Spring 2019 Lineup.

Presentations will be held in the Madden Library, Room 2206 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend.

CSU Symposium 


Over 200 people attended the CSU Symposium host by Fresno State. Over 58 different sessions were featured along with 4 keynote speakers. Attendees had the opportunity to learn from their peers from different CSU campuses.

National Science Foundation Forum


"New Policies and Solicitations from the BIO Directorate Across all Programs and for Bioinformatics Funding at the National Science Foundation"

Friday, April 5th
Dr. Jennifer Weller is a program officer in the Division of Biological Infrastructure at the National Science Foundation where she manages the Advances in Biological Informatics program, funding innovation and development activities in bioinformatics and computational biology. 

Forums will be held at the following time and place.
10 - 11 am at Agricultural Sciences Room 109 
2 - 3 pm at the Center for Faculty Excellence, Madden Library Room 2134

Everyone is invited to attend.
