We can get you started with Canvas, Zoom (a web-conferencing tool), Panopto (video platform), iClicker REEF, Qualtrics (survey tool), Respondus (lock-down browser for online test-taking), GSuite for Teaching, multiple ways to capture your lecture - just to name a few.

Post-Election Town Hall

Join Fresno State students, faculty, and staff for a post-election town hall. Come together to process the outcome of the election, and any additional concerns the Fresno State community may have. Various offices on campus will discuss their plans to support student, staff, and faculty regardless of the political party in office.

Spring 2021 Training Opportunities

Provost Jiménez-Sandoval, with the support of President Castro and Vice President Astone, is encouraging faculty to sign up for Spring 2021 virtual training. 

CFE has training options for faculty at both the foundational and intermediate levels of virtual or online instruction. Faculty who have not previously taken any training will earn a $1200 taxable stipend for successful completion of the training with reflections during the spring semester.

Moving to Panopto


The Fresno State Streaming Server is moving to Panopto

The Streaming Server is still available for existing content but the ability to upload new content has been removed. Content on the server will be available for use in Canvas course through June 30, 2021. We encourage all users to begin using Panopto for all new course content.

Please fill out this migration request form to move media content from the Streaming Server to Panopto

You will find that an Accessibility Report section has been added to your Canvas Course shell. This report will provide detailed information on the accessibility of your course, give you access to make your content more accessible and meet APM237 guidelines.

A Social Emotional Learning Event 

Relationships Matter: SEL and Literacy in 6-12 Classrooms

Faculty, schedule an appointment with an Instructional Designer for a longer discussion about pedagogy or your Canvas course by completing this form.
