For those of you who are around on the first Dead Day, Thursday Dec. 13th, consider joining us as we celebrate some of the “high-impact-practice” (HIP) work our Fresno State Students and faculty have been doing over the course of the semester. This semester’s inaugural “HIPs event” showcases student internships, first year experiences, internships, and problem-based-learning, which are all practices that are known to improve student success and learning. The symposium will be held from 9am-3pm on the 2nd floor of the library, in the Ellipse Gallery, with light refreshments available for all attendees and participants. Come and help make the “HIPS” we all do really work!
