Good morning Rooted!

I would just like to first wish you luck on all of your exams this week. Finish out the semester strong!

The White Elephant Christmas party was a success and I would like to thank everyone who came out!

The last payment for the ski trip was due yesterday so if you haven’t submitted that payment please do so ASAP!

This Friday 12/21/18 we are having our fall lock-in! There’s not a better way to end the school term than with Rooted and with a lock-in! The lock-in will take place in Sanders hall and will be from 6pm-Midnight! All that is needed is yourself and some good vibes! Bring your favorite game as well because there will be a lot of games being played and I plan on doing a lot of winning! Volunteers are needed to be at the lock in! There will be a sign up sheet to sign up for time slots so no volunteer has to be there all night, but it is a ton of fun so stay the whole night if you can. There will be dinner and there will be an ice cream bar as well! It will be a blast! Here is a simple itinerary to give you an idea of how the night will go:

Dinner 6 pm-7 pm
Underground church 7 pm-8:30 pm
Gaga ball 8:30 pm-9 pm
9 pm-11:30 pm assorted games, ice cream, movie, and dance battles
11:30 pm-12 am cleanup, wrap-up, benediction, and dismissal

Once again it is imperative that there are some volunteers for this event so if you can come for just an hour that will be much appreciated. Thank you for your support! If you have any questions, comments, or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me!

With Peace,

Your Friendly Neighborhood Youth Director
