A Message from Pastor Kandace

August 15, 2019
Dear Friends;

So many thanks to our wonderful youth for providing a beautiful service of worship last Sunday to end their week of fun and fellowship.  I was proud of each and every one of them for the ways that they willingly served and participated!  And, thanks to all who work with and support our youth – teaching Sunday School, chaperoning trips, driving busses, or providing meals.  Thanks for all you do!

This Sunday we return to our two service schedule, with worship at 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. and Sunday School at 9:45 a.m.  This is such a good time of year to invite friends and neighbors to come and check out Saint Paul’s UMC.  I hope that we will hold in the center of our thoughts this year a real need to grow our congregation, and while your pastoral staff will be doing all we can to accomplish this – it is not a solo task; everyone is needed to make growth a reality.  We have the best message in the world!  Who do you know that needs to hear it?

I am looking forward to this year of ministry together – please be in prayer for the Governing Board and Core Ministry Team leaders as we gather on Saturday for a four hour retreat time of planning and dreaming together.

Many blessings!

Kandace
