February 2017

There are some exciting things happening at VetSurg and we are happy to share them with you!

You may have heard that Ventura has a newly established small animal emergency hospital in town. Emergency Veterinary Care is now providing urgent care and veterinary emergency services seven days a week until midnight. Founders and board certified emergency and critical care specialists Dr. Sarah Gray and Dr. Nancy Scott have worked together locally for over a decade bringing a combined 20+ years of specialty veterinary experience to their new emergency practice. VetSurg's Dr. Holsworth has worked closely with both of these doctors for many years and we are proud to announce that VetSurg will be providing emergency surgical services for their urgent cases. We look forward to helping Drs. Scott & Gray save lives & support the pet community.

Also, we are pleased that Dr. Jean Greek, board certified veterinary dermatologist, continues to see patients at VetSurg every Friday. Dr. Greek is the founder of Dermatology & Allergy Clinic for Animals and is one of only 300 board certified veterinary dermatologists in the country and the only one on the Central Coast.

These are exciting times for pets in our local community. Our team here at VetSurg couldn't be more pleased to see so much great talent choosing to practice veterinary specialty medicine right here in Ventura. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us at VetSurg.

Here's to a wonderfully happy and healthy 2017 for you and your pets.

Warmly,

Your VetSurg Team
