Passiontide, Holy Week and Easter

There's lots going on in our Churches as we approach Holy Week and Easter. We'd love to see you for as much as you can make. Together we join in the last weeks of Jesus' earthly life as we 'Walk the Way of the Cross'. Through the Services of Holy Week we join in his triumphant procession into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday; we are there in the Upper Room as he washes the disciples' feet on Maundy Thursday and we stand at the foot of the Cross on Good Friday. Then begins the time of waiting. On Easter Eve we gather for the Vigil during which we hear the history of salvation, we light a fire and spread the joy of the resurrection. Then we gather again on Easter Day to celebrate the joy of Easter with all God's people.

Join us on Sunday evening, as Passiontide begins, to 'Walk the way of the Cross'.

There will be readings and special music; including 'Crucifixus' by Lotti and Leighton's 'Solus ad victimam'. The service begins at 6.30pm.

The last session of our Lent Course is on Tuesday evening.

As we prepare for Holy Week we focus on Jesus himself and relationships with those present at his death. Holy Communion is at 7pm, Bible Study at 7.45pm followed by Compline.
