On November 7, Eitan Zemel, NYU Shanghai’s Associate Vice Chancellor for Strategy and Yong Fan, founder of Asia Institute of Art and Finance, an independent art and finance training institution based in Shanghai's Pilot Free Trade Zone, met to discuss development strategies.
Dr. Taku Tokuyasu, scientist at the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, introduced his novel approach to understanding the genetic mechanisms of cancer, wjich may lead to clues about cancer development, and potential drug targets for a cure.
Professor Mark H. Gelber, director of the Center for Austrian and German Studies at Ben-Gurion University in Israel, gave a presentation at NYU Shanghai about a international ”Stefan Zweig Renaissance”.
