Dallas ISD and Texas foundation bring care vans to campuses for free vaccinations


With the first day of school inching near, Dallas ISD partners with The Caring Foundation of Texas to provide families with easy access to immunizations at no cost. Care Vans will be stationed at various Dallas ISD campuses and other locations across the district in an effort to deliver free vaccinations to students.

When & Where:

Forest Meadow Junior High, 9373 Whitehurst Dr., Aug.15, 5 to 7 p.m.

Dallas ISD Bilingual Center, 9400 N. Central Exwy, Suite 200, Aug.19, 9 a.m. to noon 

Dallas ISD Bilingual Center, 9400 N. Central Exwy, Suite 200, Aug. 21, 9 a.m. to noon 

Herbert Marcus Elementary School, 2911 Northaven Road, (During school hours).   

Kennedy Curry Middle School, 6605 Sebring, Sept.13 (During school hours).         

Emmett J. Conrad High School, 7502 Fair Oaks Ave., Sept.14, 9 to 11:30 a.m.

Robert T. Hill Middle School, 505 Easton Rd., Sept.16, 5 to 7 p.m.

Ellis David Field House, 9191 S. Polk, Sept.18, 5 to 8 p.m.

Piedmont G.L.O.B.A.L.  Academy, Sept.19 (During school hours).

Seagoville Middle School, Sept. 25 (During school hours).

Hector P. Garcia Middle School, Sept. 27 (During school hours).

W. H. Adamson High School, 309 E 9th St., Sept. 28, 9 to 11:30 a.m. 
T.W. Browne Middle School, Sept. 30 (During school hours).

H. Grady Spruce High School, 9733 Old Seagoville Rd., Nov.16, 9 to 11:30 a.m


This event is open to the media.
  • Capture students receiving their vaccinations; 
  •  Health care professionals provide health, hygiene and wellness education for children and parents;

This will mark the fourth year Dallas ISD and the Caring Foundation have partnered to provide immunizations to students. In addition to this partnership, the Care Van Program also provides free vaccinations at community events throughout the Dallas area.
