In accordance with that until the affected people get resettled gradually to keep helping them the ACJU had given the responsibility to the Masjid Federations in Colombo in the following way listed:
In the blessed month of Ramadhan, the ACJU earnestly requests to speed up your help to all those who are getting ready for resettlement jointly with the Masjid Federations. This is a golden opportunity that should not be missed by anybody in helping these people in need.
ACJU advise the following to consider when you reach out in helping the victims:
- The Masjid federation who have come forward to fulfill the requirements of the designated masjid/areas given under their purview, have to consider providing sufficient helps to each and every family who have been affected.
- ACJU humbly appeal the public to take responsibility in fulfilling the need for Suhoor and Ifthar for each and every affected family. We further emphasize and recommend to go an extra mile by attending this personally or it can be facilitated through Masjid Federation or the ACJU.
- Finally, we advise you to consider in giving a portion of your Zakat in this blessed month of Ramadhan to the people who have got affected by this calamity. Insha Allah Your portion of Zakat will definitely wipe out the tears of these people.
