Alaris obtains two FAA "333 Exemptions" for UAV Solutions, Inc.
Alaris obtained FAA approval for two separate "333 Exemptions" for UAV Solutions, Inc. (UAVS). Serving as UAVS' agent, Alaris prepared and submitted both 333 exemptions on the customer's behalf.
UAV Solutions, Inc. (UAVS) received their Section 333 Grant of Exemption and Certificate of Waiver and Authorization (COA) from the Federal Aviation Administration for its Phoenix 30 and Phoenix 60 multi rotor unmanned aircraft systems to conduct aerial data collection. The nation-wide COA allows UAVS to operate its Phoenix 30 and Phoenix 60 UAS at or below 200 feet above ground level (AGL) in the National Airspace System (NAS).
UAVS has been designing, developing and manufacturing unmanned systems and sub-components since 2006. The company sells a line of multi rotor and fixed wing aircraft for military and commercial use. “Securing the authorization to fly in the NAS has been a goal for UAVS,” stated CEO Bill Davidson. “This privilege will allow us to demonstrate our systems for potential customers and provide a safe means to enhance features on our current systems.”
Alaris (www.TeamAlaris.com), a veteran-owned small business located in Southern Maryland, prepared and submitted the FAA application for UAVS. Alaris specializes in unmanned systems including FAA applications (333 exemptions and COAs) as well as business, technical, and proposal support.
