Student Spotlight Special Edition:

Diana Jaber, Fundraising Committee Student Chair

Diana is an MS4 at George Washington University School of Medicine applying IM with an interest in hematology-oncology and women's health. She was Co-President of the GWU Chapter of AMWA from 2020-2021, which was why she later became involved in AMWA-PATH as a LIFT Coordinator. She has hosted a variety of fundraising and educational events including a LIFT training event at GW in 2020!
Currently, she is the head of the GW Chapter of the PanCAN Action Network but served as Fundraising Chair this past spring to raise funds for the PurpleStride Run. Previously, in undergrad, she was Fundraising Chair for Habitat for Humanity for two years -- which mainly entailed partnering with several local vendors to host two big fundraising events (BBQs, concerts) in both the fall and spring.
