THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to the memorial fund for Rosie Mahindra, so we could replace our tractor that bought the farm… With your generous support, we raised $32,801 for this beautiful, heavy duty, 50 HP machine that is going to turbo-charge our ability to keep growing!
We have a hard working crew but, one jubilant staff member exclaimed, “No more digging trenches by hand!” And we owe it all to you!
WE CANNOT THANK OUR WONDERFUL DONORS AND MEMBERS ENOUGH for their support of this very special project of the North American Butterfly Association!

FIELD LESSONS, FOR LIFE
Time in the field is always well spent, and many of the things we learn there help us navigate through days and nights filled with family, friends, strangers and coworkers. Read more in our blog: Lessons & Reflections from the National Butterfly Center.
Day after day, we lead people outside who have very little exposure to it; children and adults who don’t know what to do in the wild, or on a walk. We have a very short list of tips for them we consider basic skills for the field, and the more I repeat them to others the more practical applications I find for them in “real life” situations.Read more.
