Our year-end fundraiser starts NOW! Quadruple your investment today
Invest in news by immigrant journalists and journalists of color
At Feet in 2 Worlds we’ve been producing award-winning journalism about today’s immigrants for nearly 19 years. Through fellowships, workshops and mentoring we’ve helped hundreds of immigrant journalists and journalists of color reach new audiences and advance their careers. Our work changes people’s lives and addresses the historic underrepresentation of immigrants and people of color in America’s newsrooms.
Now we are asking for your help. Please make a contribution to Feet in 2 Worlds today. We are proud of our achievements, we love our work, but we are a nonprofit organization, and we can’t do our job without the support of people like you.
As we start our year-end fund drive, you have the opportunity to quadruple the impact of your gift.
Here's how it works:
Starting TODAY your gift will be matched three times - by The Ralph E. Ogden Foundation, the Feet in 2 Worlds Board of Directors Fund, and NewsMatch, a collaborative fundraising movement that supports independent, public service journalism like ours.
Our award-winning podcast A Better Life? was recently described by the judges of the Nonprofit News Awards as, “a personal portrait of the changing immigration landscape that was beautifully told and passionately executed.” This is the caliber of journalism your gift to Feet in 2 Worlds makes possible. Please make your contribution today.
P.S Please help us spread the word! Do you have friends and colleagues who share your commitment to supporting journalism like ours? Forward this email to them (and thank you in advance!).
"I was not a journalist before Feet in 2 Worlds trained me in radio. It placed my first stories on The World and WNYC, which were invaluable building blocks for my career. I credit Fi2W for those important early years, and my whole career in journalism." - Aurora Almendral, senior reporter at Quartz, Fi2W fellow in 2013
Your contribution supports reporting by immigrant journalists and our highly successful program that brings immigrant voices to mainstream media. Thank you!
Fi2W is supported by the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, The Ford Foundation, the David and Katherine Moore Family Foundation, the Ralph E. Ogden Foundation, an anonymous donor and readers like you.
