The last update had a link to the Tahr Foundation Give a Little page to help pay for legal costs to take the minister to court. As I type this it's at $128k which is awesome.
Donations are not just about the money raised, the number of people willing to donate to save the Tahr speaks volumes to the Government, so even if you can't afford much, by just adding a small donation, the numbers of donors shows unity in numbers.
Finally - we will discuss at the meeting on Thursday about a branch donation. All branches are being asked to discuss this. If you can't make the meeting and have a strong view, either for or against, please email the branch so we can consider that in our decision.
In order for the NZDA to get the most of the publicity opportunity, our National Office would like to combine the donations from all Branches into one single cheque which we they will present, in public, to the NZ Tahr Foundation.
Ideally, they are hoping to do this at the Sika Show this weekend.
