As Niagara College continues to attract international students from around the world, it is important that we have an opportunity to learn about our students’ cultures and context about the educational experience in other countries.
We invite College staff and faculty to attend an International Culture Series presentation by NC’s regional manager of the Caribbean, Geno Bullard, on:
Tuesday, January 7
NOTL Campus: 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in room W212
Welland Campus: 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in room AH255
Our International Culture Series is part of an ongoing effort to support both NC staff and faculty and also international student success and transition, and focuses on three key themes:
- Cultural norms
- Education systems
- Communication norms and techniques
We hope you will join us and engage in this opportunity to learn about some of the diverse student groups that are joining our college this January.
Seating is limited and on a first-come, first-serve basis; those interested in attending are asked to RSVP by clicking here. NC International plans to host various culture sessions at the start of each term based on interest and feedback from this session.
Looking forward to seeing you there,
Associate Director, International Recruitment & Marketing
