Dear Parents/Carers

The COVID situation has continued to escalate on both sides of the border! Guidelines are regularly changing and it is important to keep up with our responsibilities. Some helpful websites are: NSW Government, Victorian Government and CSNSW.

The current drop off and pick up routines are still in place and appear to be working well.  Please note that supervision at both gates continues until 3.30pm so you don’t have to be at the gate right on dismissal time. We thank you for your patience and understanding with this change.

If it is necessary for any parent/visitor to come on site, masks must be worn and signing in with the Services NSW QR code is mandatory via the office.

Prayer for NAIDOC Week

God of all creation,
as we journey together in this Great Southern Land,
we pray for healing, forgiveness, and unity,
creating a path of goodwill, with justice and compassion.
Jesus, through the power of your love,
You have given us the courage, wisdom, and strength
To share our gifts and talents in humility.
In peace and understanding
we reconcile with each other.
Creator Spirit,
we come together in prayer and thanksgiving
for the many blessings we have received.
Allow your Spirit to wash over us
and give us strength to walk together as one.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.

It is unfortunate that we have had to postpone Grandparents’ Day at St Patrick's. We look forward to being able to reschedule it as soon as possible. Earlier this year, Pope Francis announced a new celebration in honour of all grandparents and the elderly, who are so important to our communities and our Church.

World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly:

Pope Francis has proclaimed the World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly will be celebrated on the fourth Sunday in July each year – July 25 this year. It is marked near the feast of Sts Joachim and Anne, the grandparents of Jesus. Parishes, schools, aged care facilities and other ministries are encouraged to find creative ways to celebrate the contribution of older people to their families and communities. TS  Albury is a Youth Organisation based at Bandiana, we are sponsored by the Royal Australian Navy and aims to build leadership skills in young people through adventure and exciting learning activities.

Becoming a Navy Cadet means making new friends, being part of a team that values you. Whilst also experiencing challenges that will develop your potential as a leader.

Adventure and fun are the key ingredients for all camping, water sports and team challenge activities.

Navy Cadets learn how to sail, navigate and gain skills in everything from IT, communications, cooking and first aid to drill and seaman ship.

We have several anaphylactic children at our school. Please be aware of this when packing lunches and snacks and  remind your children the sharing of food is NOT PERMITTED for this reason.
