Dear Parents & Carers

Last Thursday our school choir sang Christmas carols at the launch of the K-mart Wishing Tree. The children did such a wonderful job and they sounded so beautiful. They certainly were great ambassadors for our school and we thank them for representing us with great pride and enthusiasm. A big thank you must also go to Mrs Brown who meets with these students every Tuesday morning at 8.15am to practice. Her commitment is very much appreciated.

Please keep our Year 2 students in your prayers as they prepare to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the very first time this evening. This is a very special time in their sacramental journey and I thank the children and their families for working in partnership with us here at school.

All students in Year 3-6 participate in this event which caters for both swimmers and developing  swimmers. There are events in the 25m pool for those children who are not confident in a 50m pool. Due to the early date of the carnival, we are beginning to organise it this term. Please ensure that you complete the Google form no later than no later than Monday 28th November (Week 8) with your child to nominate their events for the carnival. If your child cannot confidently swim 50m, please ensure that you enter them in the 25m events.

As our carnival’s program is finalised prior to the day, please be aware that students are unable to enter an event on the day of our carnival if they have not nominated this event on their completed Google Form.
