Dear Parents & Carers,

Another school year is drawing to a close and we give thanks for the wonderful year it has been. School routines have resumed to near “normal” and it has been such a blessing to welcome visitors back on site and for the children to participate in external activities.

Congratulations to the Year 6 students and their teachers on a fantastic performance of "What’s the Crime Mr Wolf?" The back drops were amazing and we certainly have some talented performers.

Our Graduation Assembly and Mass were wonderful celebrations and a lovely opportunity to acknowledge and farewell our Year 6 students. We thank them for sharing their gifts with us and adding to the spirit of our school.  As they leave behind all that has become familiar, we give thanks for the friendships made and wish them well as they move into a new stage in their life journey. We ask for God’s blessings upon them and may they continue to strive to be the best version of themselves. Check out our galleries website page.

St Vinnies Hamper Donations

A very big thank you to all those who donated to this special appeal. We will be presenting this to a representative from St Vincent de Paul at tomorrow's final liturgy in the Mercy hall at 9.30am. All are welcome to attend.

At our recent school assembly on Friday, we had the privilege of congratulating Mia Hogan on her recent achievements in Athletics. We were also able to recognise Mia with a special award congratulating her on the “Most Outstanding Athlete With A Disability Award.” This award recently arrived at school from the PSSA Athletics carnival and Mrs Johnston had the privilege of presenting this to her.

On Monday’s Year 6 Graduation assembly, we presented students with certificates who have represented the MacKillop team in various sports across the year. We are very proud of all of your efforts. 

House Cup

This week’s house points are in the process of being tallied and our winning house will be announced tomorrow! Good luck to everyone, it is anyone's competition!

2023

Thank you so much for your support this year. Sporting events cannot run without the help of our parents and other volunteers. We really appreciate your assistance and support and look forward to a busy 2023 starting with our swimming carnival on Monday 6th February!
