2017 Scotiabank Pro-Am for Alzheimer’s™
Ladies and gentlemen,

We are pleased to announce that Toronto Maple Leafs' alumni Tomáš Kaberle and Nik Antropov will be joining us at Pro-Am 2017! This is each player's first time at the Pro-Am and they will likely fly off the draft board within the Top 10 picks this year.

Tomáš Kaberle

Tomáš is a 4-time NHL All-Star and is the second-highest scoring defenceman in Maple Leafs franchise history, behind only Börje Salming. He also won a bronze medal for the Czech national team at the 2006 Winter Olympics. He won his first Stanley Cup with the Boston Bruins during the 2010-2011 NHL season.

Nik Antropov

Nik was picked 10th overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 1998 NHL draft. During the 2003-2004 season, Nik, 6'6", joined Joe Nieuwendyk and Alexei Ponikarovksy on a line called the “Skyline” - nicknamed in reference to the players’ height. He is the all-time Kazakhstani points leader among professional hockey players. He scored 193 goals and accumulated 465 points over his 17-year hockey career.
We are just 20 days away from Pro-Am 2017. Here's a reminder of the prizes up for grabs for our Top April fundraisers:
Take your grill skills to the next level, just in time for BBQ season

The fundraising team that raises the most money during the month of April will win a private class at the Weber Grill Academy. Whether it’s back-to-basics for charcoal grilling, learning how to smoke the perfect brisket, or simply improving your technique, Weber Grill Expert and celebrity Chef Michael P. Clive will be sure to get you and your teammates fired-up!

It's a close race for the Weber Grill Academy Prize! The Coop Architects lead Robins Appleby by only $2,527.
Escape To Yorkville for a Night

The individual fundraiser who receives the highest number of donations (minimum $20 per donation) during the month of April will win a one-night stay for two, with complimentary breakfast at the luxurious Toronto Marriott Bloor Yorkville!

We're keeping a close eye on this prize battle with Anthony Katz of Shower Door of Canada ahead of Adam Shapiro and Allan Kates of Robins Appleby, and Miles Pollock of Shower Door of Canada. Anthony Katz is in the lead by only eight donations.
Win a $300 CCM Hockey Stick

The NEW individual fundraiser who raises the most funds during the month of April will win a gift certificate for a CCM RBZ Revolution hockey stick!

We're watching a great fundraising battle between Allan Kates of Robins Appleby and David DaCosta of Streetsville Storm. Allan Kates is in the lead for the gift certificate, but David DaCosta is just $333 behind!
Good luck to everyone. Keep up the awesome work and let's fundraise hard to #Stickit2Alz in 2017!
