A message of Gratitude
What a tumultuous year 2018 has been! Between heated political and social discourse and Mother Nature’s fury across our country, it seems “drama” is no longer exclusive to our theatrical stage.
But as we reflect on the last weeks of 2018, we can’t help but to also reflect on the good things that have blessed our lives.
For Strollers, it is people like you!
Our amazing volunteers who spend tireless hours bringing the page to the stage.
Our local businesses who advertise with us or help us stay under budget by hospitably providing for our productions.
Our fellow theatre companies who never hesitate to lend a helping hand (or prop) when we are in need.
Our season subscribers who have supported the theatre we have made for decades!
And our donors who, time and time again, give generously to support our efforts to share these wonderful stories with our community.
This generosity has never been more apparent than during our production of Infamous Mothers. Inspired by the play, our “Pay-It-Forward” campaign had the goal of funding 65 tickets to be distributed by the Infamous Mothers Organization, the YWCA, DAIS, and the Urban League to those who would not otherwise be able to afford the price of admission.
Through the beneficence of our patrons, the campaign was fully funded in the 2nd weekend!
As 2018 comes to a close, we encourage you to participate in #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving after Black Friday and Cyber Monday that kicks off the charitable season. It's a great time to give back to organizations you believe in. We hope you will think about all the fantastic organizations that make our community better. If one of those organizations is Strollers, you can make your donation here:
We would like to thank all of the amazing people who make what we do possible and on behalf of all of us at Strollers Theatre, Happy Holidays!
We hope to see you at the Bartell:
