Kenai Peninsula - T Minus 15 days...

Amy and I have been very busy these last couple months!  We have been working (I have continued to work for NetVersant and Amy just closed her last real estate transaction), fundraising, training (July 21-23 in Nashville TN), remodeling, and packing!  We are aiming to head north to the Kenai Peninsula the week of August 16th. We ask for your prayers for the many (many) details and remodeling projects that need to be complete before we can move. Pray also for guidance & provision as we need to purchase a truck prior to heading north.

Looking for Prayer Partners

Would you consider regularly praying for the expansion of God’s Kingdom and purposes in the Kenai Peninsula? If you desire to commit to pray with and for us throughout the week, please send an email to and you will be added to our prayer partner list. We would be excited to know that you are supporting us in this way.

We have been overwhelmed and grateful for the Spirit inspired generosity of individuals, churches, and the Northwest Church Planting Network. Overall, the KP Mission budget is about 80% pledged for the next four years. This allows us to move to Soldotna, but it also leaves us with some fundraising work to do. Would you consider a one time, or reoccurring gift? Click here to learn about the ways that you can partner with us financially. If you would like to speak directly to me regarding giving, please give me a call at 907 690-4410.

The Passing of a Dear Friend and Mentor

Andrew flew home early from a recent Midwest fundraising and training trip after receiving the news that his dear friend and mentor, Rod Guyette, had a massive heart attack (no previous warnings). Rod went to be with the Lord on July 26th. Rod was a very important influence on Andrew in so many ways and even though Rod is, no doubt, rejoicing in heaven, he is very dearly missed here. Please pray for Rod's wife Sharon, his two daughters Calice and Cassie, and the rest of the extended family. Andrew and Amy will be able to attend Rod's memorial service the weekend before they leave for Alaska.
We visited Alaska the first week of June and attended worship at Faith Presbyterian Anchorage on June 6th. Andrew preached for the service and then presented the Kenai Peninsula Mission to the church during a Fellowship Meal.
We were in St. Louis July 16-20 to visit friends made while at Covenant Seminary and to raise funds for the Kenai Peninsula Mission. On Sunday we attended Central Presbyterian Church and then enjoyed a visit to Forest Park. We headed south from St. Louis on Monday for church planting training in Nashville Tennessee.

1 Peter 1:3,4: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you,
