Platy-project
September - a month of action
This September, take part in the platy-project month of action, to help researchers understand more about the elusive platypus, and how we can better protect it.
If you live near a creek or river, all you need to do is find a quiet place on the bank, try to spot a platypus and record what you see. You might be surprised by the places they call home!
This initiative is lead by the Australian Conservation Foundation. You can learn more about it here.

Partnering for ongoing support
Community Governance Training
This session will focus on building community networking opportunities and the benefits of partnering and networking with others for ongoing support.
Many organisations struggle to survive and grow on their own. They spend a lot of time and resources constantly ‘re-inventing the wheel’. But by building effective partnerships, you can learn new strategies, share skills and resources, and generate better outcomes – all without burning out in the process! It’s also a lot more fun and builds better community, as you share wisdom, skills and resources for better outcomes.
There is no charge but registration via our online form is required.
When: Wednesday 14th September, 5:30pm - 8:30pm
Where: TBA
Cost: No Charge
