Kororoit Creek Walk and Community Planting
Join the Friends of Kororoit Creek for a guided 1 hour nature walk along the calming Kororoit Creek. The walk will begin at "The Bug Rug" and follow down to the "Lizard Lounge" and return. A community planting session will take place after the walk at The Bug Rug.

Birds In Backyards Spring Surveys
These surveys are the perfect opportunity for you to unwind, choose your favourite nature spot, and identify and count birds via the Birdata app. These surveys will provide Birdlife Australia with valuable insight into the daily lives of local birds. There are also prizes to be won!

The Schools Recycle Right Challenge
Planet Ark has developed a set of curriculum-aligned lesson plans to make it easy for teachers to teach students the importance of recycling and resource recovery.
Activity sheets can be downloaded and used in the classroom to teach your students more about recycling.
Get your school involved! Students will learn the importance of reducing their waste and will give them the confidence to identify recyclables and waste-free alternatives.

New Builds - Solar Homes Program
Building a new home? This is your chance to save on electricity bills and Solar PV installation costs. Eligible Victorians can apply for a $1400 rebate in addition to a $1400 interest free loan for installation costs.
Homeowners can save up to $800 on installation costs, in addition to saving $1073 on annual energy costs.

Zero Emissions Vehicle (ZEV) Subsidy - Solar Victoria
To tackle the climate crisis, the Victorian government is aiming for half of all light vehicle sales in Victoria to be ZEVs by 2030. Solar Victoria's ZEV subsidy reduces the upfront costs of purchasing an electric vehicle.
There are currently still over 3000 ZEV subsidies available!
