Empowering Teams

Effective delegation in management is what makes a team function smoothly.  But just assigning tasks to a team is not delegation. Delegation isn't always easy and could be the downfall of your organization if you don't do it.

Oftentimes managers fear a loss of control when it comes to letting teams self-organize. There's also the problem of teams fearing to get more control. These issues can be solved or avoided altogether by creating a delegation board, which clarifies who's responsible for the task at hand. Furthermore, it allows teams and managers to find the right level of delegation for that moment.

By distributing control in an organization, we empower both managers AND workers, enabling resilience and agility, making delegation an important investment and an achievement for your team. 

What are the main concepts of a delegation board?

The seven levels of delegation: Tell, Sell, Consult, Agree, Advice, Inquire, and Delegate. The Key Decision Areas, keep it between 7-10. A set of Delegation Poker Cards. And last but not least Trust each other.
