Entwined Histories
The Entwined Histories students at the Brian Friel  Theatre, QFT, Belfast

The Brian Friel Theatre QFT, was abuzz with excitement on Thursday 5 November as 80 young people celebrated the latest installment of Co-operation Ireland’s Entwined Histories project series – EH6, The Home Front. NI NCS Service Autumn Programme

Over the past few months the NI NCS delivery teams have been planning and delivering workshops and residentials for the 150 young people from across Northern Ireland who are participating in the NI NCS autumn programme. 
They have undertaken a range of skills development training, which included a visit to UTV studios in Belfast and Google Headquarters in Dublin. This group of young people will graduate from the programme in mid December.

Three of the young people from NI NCS have recently returned from the UK, were they participated in an intensive week acquiring new skills including leadership, teamwork, project planning and media and digital communications. They were selected out of thousands of young people to become one of 100 National Citizen Service (NCS) Leaders.
Face to Faith

Young people on the Monkstown - Colin Glen (Belfast) Fair Chance programme recently participated in a cross border exchange residential with young people from Cork, funded by Causeway and the Rory Mc Donagh Trust.

Whilst on the residential, they participated in a video conference with schools from Egypt and Jordan, through the Face to Faith project. Read more...

2015 Pride of Place Awards Ceremony
The awards ceremony for the annual IPB Pride of Place Competition in association with Co-operation Ireland took place on Saturday (14 November) in Ennis, Co. Clare. More than 800 people from across the island filled the venue to hear the winners announced by RTE’s Ciana Campbell. Read more…

In his annual Chairman's Dinner, Dr Christopher Moran praised Northern Ireland’s First and deputy First Ministers for “going the extra mile for peace” and achieving the “impossible” with the recent ‘Fresh Start’ agreement. Read more...
