Holiday Craft Fair-Sunday, Nov 22
With less than a week to go, please make an effort to secure any items, gift certificates or cards from area merchants for the Silent Auction that will take place during our Holiday Fair. Contact Bob Price (203-333-1272) or Nancy Hauser (203-538-5901).
Note from Betty Brandt:
Like me, you may hesitate to ask for donations to our Silent Auction.
DON'T hesitate!!Today, I went to get my hair cut at the Fine Arts Salon, I went to my drug store, Lupe's, & I went grocery shopping at ShopRite.
I asked each merchant for a Silent Auction donation. Guess what!
Fine Arts Salon gave me a $ 25 gift certificate, Lupe's gave me a gift, & Shop Rite requested a letter from the Church requesting the donation in writing.
Three out of 3! Even though I have always hated asking people for money, this was SO EASY!! You can do it, too! Just ask, & you will receive. Go to merchants that you patronize, & just ask. You have NOTHING to lose!
