This awards program provides the opportunity for students, parents, community members and business partners to recognize and honor individual teachers at the Pre-K – 12 levels in the St. Vrain Valley School District who exemplify excellence in teaching.

Each year Black Rock participates in Spark Change, our community building philanthropy program. Our students collected a total of $1,680.22 to donate to non-profits.

Reporting an Absence

Avoid unexcused absences or tardies by notifying the office as soon as you know your student won't be at school at the start of the school day

We have three ways to report an absence at Black Rock:

When your student is late or returning during the school day, please be sure to have a responsible adult sign that student in at the front office, to ensure that attendance is recorded correctly.
