Don’t Miss the Second City Council Listening Session of 2020! Thursday, February 29th.
What priorities do you think the City of Half Moon Bay should work on in 2020? We’re listening! It is that time of year again where community members are invited to attend Listening Sessions and share your vision for the City’s priorities this upcoming year. The purpose of these sessions is for the City Council members to hear directly from the people who live and work here and gain a broad range of community input on what people feel are the critical priorities the City should be focusing on. The City will be hosting three listening sessions, with varying locations, times, and focuses. Anyone may attend any or all of the sessions. View all the dates and times below!

Pacifica Puts Profits Over People (Well, Except For One Land Owner)
In another stunning victory for parasitic profiteering and climate denial, the Pacifica City Council ignored the pleas of its citizens and voted 4-1 Monday night to approve a Local Coastal Plan (LCLUP) which denies the Climate Crisis while also taking away critical wetlands reserved primarily for recreational opportunities.
The Council also denied a Brown Act Appeal filed by citizens because of the City’s back-door dealings with a private land-owner.
