Uncontrolled intersections near the Farallone View Elementary School in Montara put our children at risk. Below is a copy of a letter to the San Mateo County Department of Public Works and Supvr. Don Horsley. Attached are details regarding the intersections where controls are requested. This matter will be on the Feb. 23rd MCC agenda for those who wish to speak thereon. I will be requesting a letter of support from the Council, to forward to Supvr. Horsley.

Julliard trained composer, saxophonist and bandleader, Immanuel Wilkens, is a 23-year-old prodigy whose debut recording, Omega was released by Blue Note Records to critical acclaim. Having worked with his band over the last four years, Wilkins’ work has been recognized with accolades from The National Jazz Museum in Harlem to NPR’s nomination for “Best Debut Jazz Recording of 2020.” More recently in 2021 he won the LetterOne Rising Stars Jazz Award. Wilkens tours the world performing and accompanying performers as diverse as Bob Dylan and Wynton Marsalis.

HMB Coastside History Jail Museum is Closed Again…

The Coastside History Museum in the Jail at 505 Johnston St has reopened  Saturday and Sunday with limited hours (usually 12-2).  Masks are optional for fully vaccinated visitors, otherwise masks are required. As part of Make It Main Street, it will be open from 3 to 7 p.m. on the first Thursday of every month.
