These beautiful horses have graced our gallery for 3 months, and we’re sad to say goodbye—for now.

City of HMB Awards the 2019 Community Services Grant

Congratulations HMB ~ Beechwood Obligation Bond $10.9 Million Payoff!!


VIDEO.  August 1st, City of HMB was able to payoff the crippling Beechwood bond. In 2008. the City was ordered to buy the 24.7 acre Beechwood property for $41 million. City Manager, Bob Nisbet, reads a proclamation to the city council and public. The payment of $10.9 million was made August 1st.

Green Infrastructure Plan Study Session with HMB City Council

BACKGROUND: The San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board’s Municipal Regional Permit (MRP) identifies and regulates the control of various pollutants in stormwater runoff from municipal storm drain systems throughout San Mateo, Santa Clara, Alameda, and Contra Costa Counties. 


SFPUC Plans for Montara North Peak Include Public Outreach and Whiting Ridge?

ARTICLE/ LINK.  I spoke with SFPUC, Betsy Rhodes, and Natural Resources and Lands Management Division Manager, Tim Ramirez, Friday afternoon, 8/16/19. With only 14 years experience, Tim can’t say why North Peak mountain peak access was allowed over the years. Possibly, just benign neglect. He is actually trying to track back the entire history (he wrote a book on Hetch Hetchy), so stay tuned.

At the July 30 Planning Commission Study Session, the Planning Commission received an overview of the new Public Works chapter for the Land Use Plan Update. This chapter completed the Planning Commission 2018-19 public draft of the Land Use Plan Update. The 2018-19 Draft Land Use Plan is now available for public comment.
