Don’t Miss the Third City Council Listening Session of 2020! Saturday, March 8th, 2020.
What priorities do you think the City of Half Moon Bay should work on in 2020? We’re listening! It is that time of year again where community members are invited to attend Listening Sessions and share your vision for the City’s priorities this upcoming year. The purpose of these sessions is for the City Council members to hear directly from the people who live and work here and gain a broad range of community input on what people feel are the critical priorities the City should be focusing on. The City will be hosting three listening sessions, with varying locations, times, and focuses. Anyone may attend any or all of the sessions.

An application for a new Hyatt hotel has been under review with the City since 2016.
This private development proposal has not been approved, nor has the robust project and environmental review process that precedes consideration of approval been completed. This proposal involves only private property on land that is zoned Planned Development.
The applicant requests City consideration of discretionary actions including a Coastal Development Permit and site and design review. Preparation of an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) to evaluate the potential environmental effects of the proposed project is required.
