The Mavericks Experience

It is our goal to make sure customers enjoy their experience in the water with a surf lesson or during a Mavericks tour on land. Our guides and instructors have a wealth of knowledge about the waves, the community, and especially Mavericks.

There's nothing more exhilarating then learning how to surf. Our Surf Lessons are all about ensuring learning is fun, safe and convenient for all students; meaning we have everything you need covered!

Our introductory lesson is a 2 hour session. The lesson includes top quality gear featuring RipCurl wet suits, soft top surfboards designed for comfort and highly qualified instructors.

Lessons take place at beginner friendly Surfers Beach. Whether you're solo, a family or a group, this is a fantastic experience and sure to keep you coming back out to the beach!

Rent a STORAGE Space for your Kayak, Surfski, or Standup Paddle.  Wood and carpet rack covered with UV netting. $50/month. (Paid quarterly).

The City of Half Moon Bay and Home for All San Mateo County are hosting an educational community conversation that will help us all gain a better understanding of the local housing situation. Participants will learn about the current housing situation in our community, share experiences and ideas, and explore how the community can work together to address Half Moon Bay’s housing needs. This community conversation is being held with support from the Half Moon Bay Library.
