Smart Transportation and Mobility - Digital Innovation and Entrepreneurial Solutions

It has always been a challenge to move people and goods as fast and cheap as possible. In the era of digitalization, new solutions will be found for clean, efficient and convenient transportation. At our event, we will discuss relevant global trends and recent technical developments.

Key questions:
  • What will be the driving forces of the innovation process?
     
  • How can start-ups and corporates collaborate in this field?
     
  • Is demand-driven transportation the key for efficient mobility?
     
  • Which investment in infrastructure is needed for transformation processes in urban areas?

For the discussion, we invited the following experts:
 

Florian Feise
Project Manager | Local Motors

Florian has a background in International Business Administration and originally comes from the mountain bike industry before joining Local Motors, a motor vehicle manufacturing company combining co-creation (open-source motor vehicule designs) and micro-manufacturing. Today, Florian is a project manager within the Local Motors Berlin entity and responsible for the execution of the Airbus Cargo Drone Project together with the Airbus Group.
 

Daniel Perlzweig
Vice President Contracts, Legal Affairs and Bids Approval | Bombardier Transportation

Dr. Daniel Perlzweig is a member of the Leadership Team of the Region Central Europe, Eastern Europe and Russia/CIS. Daniel is responsible for Bids Approval, Contracts and Legal Affairs. Before joining Bombardier, Daniel worked between 1999 and 2005 in the IT/IS industry (Infomatec AG) as well as in the consultancy sector (Travers Smith). Daniel studied law and economics, has a degree in law and holds an Executive MBA degree from ESCP Europe.

Marc Schmitt
CEO and Co-founder | Evertracker
CEO and Co-founder | Schmitt.

Marc Schmitt is CEO and co-founder of Evertracker and Schmitt., with which he optimizes and automatizes processes. He did an EMBA at the ESCP Europe and studied communication and design, consulted several corporations, such as Allianz, Commerzbank and KfW. He believes in the simplicity of the world.


The discussion will be presented by René Mauer, Chair of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at ESCP Europe.

Registration opens at 5.30 p.m. and the discussion starts at 6 p.m. The evening will be concluded by a get-together with drinks and snacks.
