The Episcopal Diocese of Maryland and Dean Rob Boulter welcome you to join us virtually for worship at our cathedral this Sunday, March 29, 2020 at 11:00 AM. The Rev. Adrien Dawson, rector, All Saints', Frederick will preach
Livestreamed Worship
Join us for livestreamed worship Sunday, March 29, at 11:00 AM. Bishop Sutton has suspended all public worship in our diocese until May 16 or until further notice in the interest of loving our neighbor by keeping them safe. If your church does not have a livestreamed service or if your service is at a time other than 11:00 AM, we would love you to join us virtually at our Cathedral of the Incarnation. Let's worship together as a diocese and as a global community of love. Blessings to everyone. Stay calm. Stay connected. Stay church. And cultivate the sanctuary of your heart in this time of distancing from the sanctuaries of our churches.

Livestreamed offerings for Holy Week from our cathedral are listed below. All services will be broadcast from this link and shared widely.
  • Palm Sunday, April 5, 11:00 AM
  • Maundy Thursday, April 9, 7:00 PM
  • Good Friday, April 10, Noon
  • Easter Vigil, April 11, 7:00 PM
  • Easter Day, April 12, 11:00 AM
Our Diocesan Christian Formation Council will send out offerings this week for ritualizing our faith at home during Holy Week and Easter.

Give to your congregation online through our diocesan giving portal
In this time of uncertainty, giving to our churches is matter of concern. Not only are families and church members compromised financially, but physical distancing naturally creates a separation from giving. To facilitate continuity of pledge payment during this time and make it easier for congregations not set up for online giving to receive payments, our diocese is offering the opportunity to give to our congregations through our secure online payment system. The link to give is posted on the front page of our website, and in the livestream post for Sunday.

NOTE: Last week there were technical difficulties for some with our giving form; they have been corrected by our database developer for a smoother process going forward.

Update your congregation's information on the church locator with the word "livestream"
Our website church locator links directly to The Episcopal Church directory with data provided by Episcopal Relief and Development's Asset Map. The searchable online locator contains congregational profiles of more than 7,000 Episcopal churches. "Livestream" is now a search indicator on the Asset Map to help others find your congregation. If you are offering livestreamed worship, formation or other opportunities, please take a few minutes to list them on our profile. Individual lay and clergy congregational leaders may view and update their church profiles online.

Steve Welch, canon for communications in the Diocese of New Jersey, has put together a helpful video on how to make these updates. Adding Your Church's Live Stream Services to Episcopal Asset Map. It is also critical to update your ministries, such as feeding programs, that are continuing during this crisis.
